After waiting since early October to slip these stunners onto my feet, I finally got the chance and felt ready enough to wear my Alaia open-zip booties last Friday. After breaking my foot in November (link to the series of events here), I have been trying my best to wait until June and at the time, thought it was possible to wait that long - errr nope! I mean, come on! Six months is a LONG time! Luckily, attending Fashion Forward last weekend set my wishes in motion and I couldn't have possibly have passed it up...
Surprisingly they were much more comfortable than I thought they would be. My {healing} foot did hurt a tad, but other than that, smooth sailing!
